With the help of memders I managed to get my Sunsynk 8kw inverter up and running Thank you!!

Any sugestions for a solar mobile and pc APP that I can use to monitor my power consumption and generation for this inverter.

I battle to get the Sunsynk APP to work. I loaded the Solarman APP but very limited stats.

Your advice will be appreciated

Thanks

It really is horses for courses as to what software monitoring programme you would like but I will recommend Solar Assistant. Its easy to install, delivered within 24 hours and gives fantastic data outputs for monitoring your system.

Sunsynk is coming out with their own dongle and app, it has 60 second refresh rate, essentially duplicates the inverter interface and gives you same control but remotely, it should be released by the end of December.

Will this work with brand engineered Sunsynks like Deye and Fusion as well? If not I'm tempted to go Solar Assistant to be able to make remote changes (like charging up the battery with mains when loadshedding is announced).

The OS is different on the others, so even if it works on the Deye today, it's no guarantee that it will work tomorrow.
