SunSynk 5k radiator temperature as displayed in Solar Assistant

That is interesting. However, I have just done a check on my inverter and I have the following readings:

DC-T = 54.3 and AC-T = 44.4

At the same time, the Solar Assistant inverter temperature reading is 54.3.

So it appears that SA is reading the DC-T value.

OK. I need to do some investigation. Seems like I had an error in a function node reading the DC temperature and it is now giving a correct reading. Now 64,2 degrees and AC (or radiator) at 44 degrees.

The 70 degrees must have been just before the fans kicked in. The inverter is in the garage so cannot hear when fans come on.😜

Apparently the 5kW Sunsynk is passively cooled. I found mine was inclined to run hot so I have "mounted" a AC panel fan on top of the inverter to suck air up through the heatsink. Using a sonoff and Home Assistant to control the fan. Switches on when to temperature goes above 60 degrees.

Sorry for adding to this old post, but the only one I can find.

I feel my temps are dangerously high or not? According to the manual, the normal operating temperature is 60 degrees.

Where do I get this screen on the sunsynk app or web page? I have been searching for it, but can't find it

If you click on parameter you can select the DC and AC temps

In the app there is a Details tab if you are on the inverter window I believe just swipe left to the end of the tabs.

Hope this helps if you haven't found it yet.
