DIP Switches are correct. Value as per first image is for total. Same reading as in SA. Firmware in 1 and 2 are the same. 3 is different Looks like I need to contact Hubble for an update.

Hi all. Firstly thanks to S32 for the great work. I have 3 AM2s connected and am getting data from all 3 batteries as per the picture. But battery 1 is showing the "Capacity_Full" of the total batteries, as does the "Capacity_Remain","Current" and "Power" readings. I am using the "am2_to_mqtt.py" script as per the github post. Did I forget something? Is anybody else having similar result?

Apparently the 5kW Sunsynk is passively cooled. I found mine was inclined to run hot so I have "mounted" a AC panel fan on top of the inverter to suck air up through the heatsink. Using a sonoff and Home Assistant to control the fan. Switches on when to temperature goes above 60 degrees.

Does that mean that you have to load 1.46 first on both and then 2.05?

Batteries just stating to charge now.

With a bit of rewiring on the usb side they should work. The pin out on the RJ10 side is incorrect.

I haven't had any real issues yet. Just don't like to see a mismatch. Must be my ocd and technical background. Getting the updated bin file and firmware update software from Hubble was very easy. Just emailed them and requested the update. Only I have a problem in that the loader seems to be faulty. I keep getting a bin file error. The bms tools however connects perfectly and gives me the info as in the screen shots. I am just waiting for another lone laptop to try and get it in to the hubbles again.

MD5 checksum matches, so the bin file is not corrupted. Borrowed laptop had to be returned, but com port on my main PC matches yours, So will lug it out tomorrow and try again. Thanks for the info anyhow.

@system32 I got the firmware update utility and bin file (Same as yours) but i am getting a bin file error when I try to "Upgrade" I am using the usb to serial lead that works with Solar-Assistant. Setting appear to be set the same as in your screen shot. Am I missing something? Does the AM2 have to be set into firmware update mode or something?

I notice that the battery temperature on the Dashboard > Inverter page is the correct value. On the Dasboard > Inverter page the temperature has the correct value.

@system32Just a quick question. On SA is your "Pack #1" the master or slave battery? On my system Battery 1 is shown as "Pack #2".

Unfortunately I have this problem. Pack1 purchased in Feb 2022. Pack 2 purchased Aug 2021. Problem is obviously with different firmware. I purchased the batteries from the Powerforum store and am the installer. I am waiting for feedback from my supplier since the 19th April. Not a peep yet. My main question is what do us guys out in the sticks (East London) do to update the firmware if we do not intend to purchase a RIOT?

Shading causes this. The whole string becomes only as good as the shaded panel.

OK. I need to do some investigation. Seems like I had an error in a function node reading the DC temperature and it is now giving a correct reading. Now 64,2 degrees and AC (or radiator) at 44 degrees. The 70 degrees must have been just before the fans kicked in. The inverter is in the garage so cannot hear when fans come on.😜

Interesting. So where inside is it measuring the DC-T, Because mine is currently sitting at 70,7 degrees. Should I be worried that something is frying? GR.

Hi Guys, I have noticed that the radiator temperature displayed by Solar Assistant seems way out compared to the values that I get from the Solarman Smart app and my node-red modbus readings. Any one else noticed?

I have 13x535 watt panels connected to my 5kW Sunsynk. 7 on 1 string and 6 on the other. 7 on main roof of house and 6 on a garage roof. Both north facing. Maximum current that I have seen drawn has been 12,5 amps.
