Sunsynk - combining grid and DC power and directing to load output only

Hi all,

Could someone please confirm whether the below scenario would be possible with a 5kW Sunsynk :

a) No PV coming in (lets assume its night time)

b) Inverter set to supply a maximum of 3kW from the battery

c) Grid connected, supplying 1500W

d) 4500W of power being delivered to the 'LOAD' output

Thank you!

Yes

By "Load" do you mean load only? If so No. You can't stop the inverter from supplying non essential from battery.

Thank you,

I have one more question :

Can the Sunsynk (5kW model) deliver more than 5kW to the LOAD port.  For example : If  the inverter is generating 3kW from the battery, and the grid is also supplying 3kW.  If so, what would be the maximum continious output power on the LOAD output?

Thank you

I have the same question. Also the Sunsynk (also 5k).

Max I have witnessed is 7.2kw

Excellent, thank you..

Good to know because the data-sheet doesn't seem to show this spec

See attached...not sure of exactly what your inverter code is, but the 5Kw inverter allows for 35A pass through
