Hi

I had a Growatt 5kVA with a Pyltontech 2,4kWh battery. I've not added solar panels and replaced the Growatt with a 5kVA Sunsynk. My battery has been acting strange with the charge lights and run lights flashing. Any suggestion on how to fix this? Or is this even an issue?

Sounds like its operating as it should. When the SOC lights are flashing the battery is charging ,when they are on but not flashing the battery is discharging and when the SOC lights turn off the battery is idle.

How is the battery comms configured? By CAN or using voltages?

Ok because when the battery is charged, the SOC and run lights blink on an off. I would imagine this means the battery is idle? In the evening my use timer sets my battery to 100% (its too small to use at night)

what does your LiBMS screen look like on the inverter?

It is set to Lithium, protocol 00. And limits are set to 40a for max charge and discharge

Edit: My error. I thought i was replying to OP.
