Yes , @Coulombhas made mention on several occasions that there is superimposed halfwave sinusoid on the DC .

These modern designs are transformer less to start off with , and therefore no galvanic isolation should be assumed , when maintenance , repairs  is performed. One should isolated AC entirely when working on machine. For this purpose I have double cute circuit breaker on AC output and double cut AC isolator on AC input. Then of course one must still take precautions regarding postcharge on DC inputs ( large capacitors maintaining DC voltages) . I use a power resistor to discharge . Only then can one safely work on machine.

communication RS485 and CAN connections are galvanic Ally isolated by design , and one can safely work with these connections when system is live.

On what basis does the engineers render the design as faulty?

Another reason to prefer the 145 V max models (Axpert MKS I and Axpert King I), which have the solar charge controller connected to the battery side, which IS galvanically isolated from the mains and inverter output.

Edit: This issue occurs with all transformerless grid tie inverters, too. Not only is the PV input lethal even with no PV connected, leakage to earth due to wet panels can cause weird problems like the bus voltage exceeding its limits, causing inverters to trip off with a fault code.

Just tested my system and the results are true. There is definitely an AC current of 210V active from Earth to the DC side. @StarFlashthanks for sharing. You made me very aware of this...A very intriguing issue.
