Kw/Watt hour meter

Featured Replies

Looking to get a single phase kw and watt hour meter. Something with memory.

what I actually want to do is test my geyser for a day or a week to get an average usage. I’m playing around with my geyser timer to see what times suit me best an how much power I can actually save,

also looking to test my fridge and my dishwasher.

I’ve seen products for around R600 but I will gladly take recommendations on products some of you have tried and tested and is accurate.

thanks

CBI ASC 30 A. Can be set as timer. Does keep record of daily and monthly used power. Can be programmed for loadshedding and power surges. CBI have a App or Tuya App can be used.

I am running a 25 Amp SONOFF from Communica for R750 and love it,

it gives me monthly reports based on my daily consumption for last 3 months, I have set it to only switch on in the mornings before I shower for 45 minutes, so far very happy with the results. Ignore the cost, I just entered R2.90 per unit and I know that is higer than what I am actually billed for.

Here you can see in April I consumed 42 units and there was a spike on the 16th coz I manually overrode the geyser to be on longer as I had 3 loads of dishes to do 😆
