Jinko solar panels

Featured Replies

So most people on the forum speak about JA and Canadian solar panels. I have seen that some people use Jinko.

Because I’m still new to all of this I wanted to know if Jinko is a trustworthy panel? Is it a good brand. The price from solar and inverter warehouse is the best currently for a 545watt panel, But because a lot of people use JA panels I’m abit hesitant.

I’ll be using about 18panels on a 8kw sunsynk, 9 x panels per string on one mppt and 9 panels on the second mppt (east- west orientation)  Jinko 545watt 49.52v Voc

anyone that uses them or knows more than me about panels, your input would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a number of other brands but stick to class A panels. I have some made in India and they perform just as well. Every dual cab need not be a Ford or Toy 🤔🤔

Jinko, Canadian and JA are all tier 1 PV manufacturers.

Just to clarify - tier does not relate to quality, but to the Bloomberg New Energy Finance ranking, (which correlates with total manufacture output). With that in mind, you don't end up there if your product is garbage.

Then you also get panel class, but panels from any manufacturer can be damaged in shipping and end up being class B - these are sometimes sold as class A to unsuspecting buyers...

A lot of times I would trust the sellers judgement in what they are prepared to import and even put their name on like Thesunpays.

Jinko was my first choice because of the good reviews in Australia and because it's a tier 1 but there wasn't any stock when I was looking so I went with something different.
I'd still go with them if I had a choice. Or money. Or more roofspace.
