Has anyone been able to find stock of the Pylontech US5000 batteries in South Africa?

I'm currently looking at a UP5000, but I would prefer a US5000 if at all possible - purely due to the warranty.

Ordered a Freedom Won eTower instead. Their warranty terms seemed a lot more reasonable than Pylontech's.

So far, what I do know is:

UP5000 - 5 year non-extendable warranty

US5000 - 5 year extendable warranty (looks similar to how US3000B/C gets extended from 7 to 10)

I wonder what the reason for that is.

Yip, listed on Segen Solar's site. However, they have not responded to any of my emails over the last few months. If their sales service is like that, then I'd be concerned about their after-sales service.

According to the following link there are differences
Recommended max discharge current and expected cycles life. 

 

Has the availability of the Pylontech US5000 changed at all in South Africa since this post? 

Looking for the US5000 instead of the UP5000 due to the 80A continuous current draw allowed.
