Featured Replies

HI guys,

I am acquiring a US3000C to my existing Us2000B bank.  I have read about the compatibility issues.

does anyone perhaps have the correct firmware for the 2 batteries?

Thanks!

There is no compatibility issues, you might not even need to update the firmware. Hookup the batteries and make the new US3000C a master and the US2000B's slaves and all should be ok.

Have a look at the link

And a few other posts on this forum and another.

Like a condom... I'd rather have it then don't need it then need it and don't have it.

OK, if that is what you believe I guess I must be wrong. Even though I ran 4 x US2000B batteries with one UP5000 as a master and three different firmware versions on my batteries. I guess I'm the lucky one and I guess Pylontech technical support told me lies when I first enquired, before getting my battery. The forum knows better and believe everything you read here, your choice mate 😀

If you mix use US2000B and US3000C in one group, the max. number of the battery in this group is still 16. But as the master must be US3000C and the address of US2000 is only 8, so the max. number of US2000 in this group should be 7 and they must be put in address 2 to 8. The 16 batteries will be in the following order:

Address 1: US3000C(master).
Address 2-8: 7 x US2000(slave)
Address 9-16: 8 x US3000C(slave)

Regards,

Jeff

Get the battery and hook it up, do not update the firmware if all is working well. If you have to update the firmware, get it directly from pylontech. Contact Jeff
