Hi all, I have a question, I have 2 Pi's and would like to share the console cable of my pylontech stack between the 2 pi's. Would a serial db9 splitter cable be able to be used in such a scenario? Any ideas please?

Thanks! How is the 2nd cabled wired? to a bus bar or directly from batteries? Do you perhaps have a photo to share?

To revive an old Threat, Just wanted to find out everyone's opinion... I currently have 4 Pylontech batteries. 2 UP5000's and 2 Us2000C's. should I have another Battery cable going from the Batteries to the Inverter or is the single Positive and Negative cables enough? Also if the above is fine, if another UP5000 or US3000C or Even 2000C will be added should I then add another pair of battery cables to the inverter? Any advise would be appreciated...

My Issue and reason for not moving to them is they don't support MPPT charge controllers as of yet...

Yes HomeAssistant can, but its such a hassle to configure and setup, and where does one start? Need something that can take inverter plus, victron MPPT.

If Solar Assistant was able to work with Victron MPPT solar charge Controllers, I would not hesitate to move. What other software would one be able to use when you also have additional MPPT controller? does any one know?

Good day, So if I am understanding this thread correctly. The Separate MPPT Controller and batteries get added to a DC busbar and not the inverter? Which busbar is the right one to get? Also can anyone show a wiring diagram of this setup?

I just noted Kodak 8Kw, are you sure you are not referencing the Kodak OG7.2? As I am not aware of a 8Kw Kodak?

Very interesting! Thanks for this, can you please share Photos of your setup with this charger? Question does this only plug into the generator so it is only charging your batteries or does the generator also provide power to the inverter? Might be looking into something like this as well.

Hi Guys, I have the Axpert MAX 8KW inverter MKS2-8000 as per ICC and another windows software. Currently I have Firmware version Main CPU 46.02 and Remote Panel 12.13 Which Firmware can I use to upgrade and what would be the benefits for the MPPT? Please can you advise?

Yes you can, and the 5000 becomes the master.

Reading this forum, seems like updating the MAX firmware is not a good idea!
