  1. My biggest problem with Solar Assitant will be that you can't use the Pi for anything else. I use my PI for home assistant and many other features as well apart for my solar system.
  2. For me it does not matter, if I turn off all plugs and run a resistive load or only charge battery, I have never passed 2400Watts on my system.
  3. Yip, if you are running 3S then that does not solve the issue as well. but it is frustrating! Loosing 1000+ Watts is crazy if you ask me! I have even gone as far as providing extra cooling for the King now it does not go over 38 'C but still does not make any difference.
  4. It really does seem if the King has issues with PV not providing full of the Array. On this forum many members complaining but don't find a single one that has at least 80% usable of the array. from my 4050w of arrays I have never gone above 2305w EVER even with load exceeding 4000W. I wonder if this will ever be resolved.
  5. HI, I have used Scoop outdoor Cabinets before, not only for batteries but networking equipment as well all outdoors. https://scoop.co.za/products/structured-cabling/outdoor-cabinets/
  6. I had an similar issue, updating the firmware sorted mine.
  7. @Coulomb this is very interesting! Is that how to get the King to blend power from all 3 with Utility being used less.
  8. Had a same dodgy install that @Steve87 sorted out, he is just amazing!
  9. No but I went ahead and bought the Xtend Element. Happy with it.
  10. I ordered from them. It was mounting accessories and my experience was good ordered online. Items where not in stock and received my money back. With no issues.
  11. thanks I appreciate your input, perhaps i might be lucky as well
  12. Have a look at the link And a few other posts on this forum and another. Like a condom... I'd rather have it then don't need it then need it and don't have it.
  13. HI guys, I am acquiring a US3000C to my existing Us2000B bank. I have read about the compatibility issues. does anyone perhaps have the correct firmware for the 2 batteries? Thanks!
  14. Great! so effectively my Current recommended Discharge is 50A.
  15. Hi Gents, I have a question and not sure if it has been asked before. Basically I have 2 x US2000B batteries Now I know that the recommended discharge per battery is 25A. Does this then double to 50A for the 2? Also what would happen if an Us3000C is added to the bank? Thanks for your time.

Then another question, If I use CAN for PylonTech to inverter can one use the same cable or is there a different cable that needs to be used?

Great thank you, my reason for asking is I have ICC and wanted to know how Solar Assistant is compared to it. But if you say MultiSIBControl is a better control tool, perhaps I should first try that and Keep ICC for monitoring. What are your thoughts?
  18. Yip my king is doing the same, only way too get PV to work right is to Set to SBU then manually change to SUB to ensure batteries don't go too low. Very frustrating. U1 71.97 and u2 02.66 When Batteries are full. Pv is poor When on SBU its fine.

When you say solar assistant for now, are you not happy with it?
  20. Thanks Jacques, been struggling too much, perhaps I should ditch ICC and then go Solar assistant.
  21. Nope still does the same, I have to switch between Eco mode and then back to SBU in order for the PV to kick in. This is so frustrating.
  22. Thanks Jacques I changed the settings as per below. Because I was on Battery, Its charging now, so PV is fine now, will have to wait till battery is full. Will post results.
  23. HI Coulumb, I have edit the post.
  24. I got the exact same issue. If on SUB PV watts Drop when battery is full, when on SBU PV watts are fine. Can you please assist with an issue on my King? My king is not using PV unless it is in battery mode? I don;t want it in battery mode, It needs to use Solar for loads and then utility for the rest? here is my settings IF it Put it in battery mode (SBU) on Use Time Control it is then fine. But My battery is going down? As you can see now
