July 31, 20224 yr Hi Guys. As Deye has been finally approved in Denmark for on grid setups , I am looking to buy a 3 phase Deye inverter and set it up instead of my 5,6kw EasunPower Off grid inveter. In my current setup , I have pulled extra cables from the EaSun Inverter to all my rooms and my small workshop and I am covering the loads 100% from the Solar and batteries. Now this new Deye , can be connected directly to the grid. An authorized electrician will come and make the connections and make the paperwork but before I set it up I just want to make sure I understand how this will work. For Easun I took GRID power for my Easun from a 3 phase socket (using only one of the phases of course) that I have in my workshop. This socket is of course coming from my electrical panel and it has a 40A breaker and a 16A fuse. So power comes after breaker and fuse. Now in the house on the electrical panel I can see 3 phases coming in , going into some 25A fuses , and from there distributed to breakers that split into the house. Now come the questions : 1. Can I supply GRID power to my Deye directly from this 3 phase socket ? According to the diagram the connection should be made anywhere on the AC circuit as long as my CT sensors are installed BEFORE the home load, and taking grid power from the socket would satisfy this need. I will be using the supplied CT Sensors and not a smart meter. 2. Is the inverter smart enough to supply AC power (match the grid consumption) to all my "Home Loads" or should I move all the home loads on the "Backup Load" ? I was thinking to leave my Servers , Routers, Network equipment on the Backup Load , in case of GRID failure , they would continue to run just as of today on Battery and PV. 3. IF the inverter is smart enough to match the load on HOME LOAD and I don't need to move everything on Backup Load, how should I set up this Work mode so the Inverter will Primary supply the loads on the Home Load and Bacup Load , charge the batteries and if there is surplus , to be injected into grid. Manual is not very detailed about this and just want to know before the electrician comes as I am not sue how familliar he is with Deye. 4. Is Deye a License of Sunsynk or Sunsynk a license of Deye ? Will receive the Deye in 3 days and will start the setup process.
