Hi guys, anyone with a Deye 8kw and 2x5.5 Hubbles. Could someone advise what the charge and discharge AH be? Hubble says 110AH on the website but if you have two batteries should it still be 110AH. Also mines always revert to 100AH even if I try 110AH.

It is 100A per battery, so 200A for the two. You shouldn't need to set anything, let the BMS take care of it.

 

I wouldn't panic about the charge rate, you do not need or probably want to charge the batteries at such high a rate, if you are using solar panels to recharge, let them take 4 to 6 hours, kinder on the batteries as well and will allow you some of the solar to be used to run whatever else is consuming electrons around the place.

My battery is set for 80A, which is C/2 app. and this graph for right now, shows you it nearly fully charged by now... and briefly the charge rate reached 50A at 09:10 this morning, but overall, getting to 1C or C/2 charge rates is usually not neccesary, after all, C/2 would imply fully charged in 2 hours, but since you have many more daylight hours, I'd say, moenie panic nie... even if you were to be able to set it to 1C, mostly between the inverter and the BMS of the battery, they likely will be choosing a lower charging rate, over which you have no control...

Thank you for this. I had an issue with a F56 fault error but it only occurs when there's load shedding and if my discharge is say at 6kw or so it gives me that error

I am thinking that your inverter is only seeing the 1 battery and there is no comms to the second battery.

AM-2 are 1C rated.

The Deye 8k has a limit of 185A for Charge/Discharge @48V so 8.88kW

I have 4 batteries amd 6.4kWp solar and use 150A/7.2kW.
