Manual for NEnergy AT48100

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone have a copy of the manual for the NEnergy AT48100 LifePO4 Battery Module. There was no manual in the box and the supplier is unable to provide one. I'm specifically trying to get the pin layout for a (CAN/RS485) comms cable between this battery and a Kodak OG5.48.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

You are not the first and probably won't be the last to ask for documentation.
It's beyond me how any reseller just shrug their shoulders when the customer who spent 20k + asks for the documentation and they just reply they don't have it. They know exactly who they got it from.
This battery brand is unique to SA it seems, so the importer/distributer must be known to the reseller. And the reseller is ultimately responsible to provide this data.
Put some pressure on your reseller to get what you are entitled to and if they don't want to, then you insist that they provide you with the distributer in SA who probably has this brand name put on the Battery by the chinese manufacturer.

Thanks Siegfriedt,

I've seen this one, very much the same as the 'TheSunPays' battery manual. We will try a few pin combinations that I found already to see what works. Was just hoping someone had the manual for this specific one.

Hi Firoz,

Nothing official yet. My Dad has been doing some testing on the pins with an Arduino Oscilloscope and there appears to be pulses generated on pin 7 and pin 8 of the RS485.

Hi Alif,

With all the load-shedding of late we have not done much more testing besides confirming which pins have a signal on them.

What we found was signal on pin 1,2,7,8. Basically like most of the battery layouts attached.

Hi, walked into the same challenge....any solution on the communication connection between Growatt SPF 5000 ES and the wall mounted N energy 48v 80 ah unit???

Has anyone figured out the pin config for the Nenergy AT48100.

I've got manual for both Inverter and Battrry but that doesn't help much.

In theory it should be a straight pin to pin connection but that doesn't work.

I've got a Growatt SPF5000ES.

Anyone figured it out yet?

Hi Herminator,

Would it be possible for you to scan in and share a copy of the manual for the Nenery AT48100?

Regards

Quentin

Hello QuentinF, did you come right with getting the Nenergy AT48100 to Communicate with the Growatt?

I am looking for the same Solution.

Please can you share if you got

Good day

Does anyone have a Growatt inverter and a N Energy battery? I would like what pin configuration to use.

Hi CoenieF, If you have 1 inverter and one battery, you can use a normal computer network cable (i.e. straight-through cable). Plug one end of the cable to the BMS port on the Growatt and the other end to the first RS485 port on the N-Energy battery. Then set your inverter to Lithium by changing "Program 5" to Li.

That is working for me. The inverter is communicating with the battery and getting it's correct voltage and SOC levels.

The challenge I am having to connect multiple batteries together to the inverter.

As soon as I connect a BMS cable between the two batteries, the inverter reports BMS communication error and cuts off the power.

I am guessing that the pinout of battery to battery BMS connection is the problem. A straight-through cable doesn't work on this case and I am not sure where to find the cable that can work.

Anyone please help.

Are you also using a N Energy Battery? What protocol are you using? I can't get my inverter to communicate with the battery at all.

@Asher-02  No sorry, still unable to get it to communicate here, eventually gave up.

If yours is working 100% with manual setting, would you mind sharing them. Our manual setting of the below program settings dont appear to be performing well.

Program setting, 02; 05; 12; 13; 26; 27; 29

Thank you
