March 6, 20233 yr I noticed the following on my 15 kWh battery (based on Solar Assistant numbers). Jan Charged - 431.3 kWh Discharged - 348.2 kWh Feb Charged - 335.3 kWh Discharged - 267.5 kWh If this is losses due to inefficiency, it is equal to 20% loss on a lifepo4 battery. Is this normal? Could the SA numbers be incorrect?
March 6, 20233 yr Most of those losses will be inverter losses. If it's 90% efficient in charging and 90% efficient in discharging, you get about those numbers.

March 6, 20233 yr All depends on many factors here. Yes there is losses. Also sometimes you will especially discharge more during one day when setting the battery to gradually supply loads etc on the user timer & then only charge the next day & therefore these figures can different from user to user. What I will also add is the following pic from Solar Assistant that explains how these numbers are gathered. Also on another note you cannot just share your plant details without context. The inverter parasite loads are different & solar strategies are sometimes very different.

Yes, I agree on a day to day basis it can change depending on usage, etc. Hence why I rather look at monthly numbers which would not be influenced in the same way as it evens out over the period. So it could then be a combination of normal losses and possibly Sunsynk inaccuracies.
