Hi @gabriel, There seems to be a problem with one of your reporting devices, either Axpert or BMV is lying and I am beginning to suspect the BMV (because we all know that in an Axpert/Victron env

Remember that the BMV will probably report 100% when you remove and restore power because it must start somewhere. Make sure that your Axpert reports full voltage and 100%, then sync the BMV and even

And yet no change to BMV amps...

Check through all your BMV connections CAREFULLY, if no fault found then remove power from the BMV and reconnect to see if it comes right.

If you want to be absolutely sure then switch of AC and PV inputs to the inverter leaving only battery, at your current load you should bu pulling close to 10amps from the battery.

Check through all your BMV connections CAREFULLY,

found the 1st fault, slightly loose connection from shunt to bmv702 at my desk, made the bmv light flicker  as i fumbled with it - now it reports soc as 100%, same as axpert

i will have to check the crimping of the wiring which go into this socket

i think for now my problems have been sorted out and thank all of you!!!

[nb 'for now']

Make sure that BMV amps reading makes sense.

@gabriel I am glad to see you have found the gremlin in your system and have all under control.

Just in case you have not noticed, Coulomb and Weber updated their firmware to 73.00b and that is what you should use if you decide to flash your Axpert with their firmware.  The link to their old 72.70b firmware is http://forums.aeva.asn.au/viewtopic.php?p=64096#p64096 and it contains a detailed explanation of the flashing process. Also it is stated that it is no longer recommended to flash the SCC firmware which one less thing that may go wrong. Their AussieView manual is worth downloading and printing as all the new displays and functions are explained. I for one would be somewhat lost without it.

I noticed that your Axpert parameter 12 is set to 48V. Just for information, when I installed ICC ( it was AICC then ) Jaco Fourie who started it with Manie advised the one should set that voltage fairly low, perhaps 44V, as otherwise it will interfere with ICC which would then not work correctly. With ICC and a BMV controlling the Axpert, one wants to make sure that the Axpert's own settings don't clash and try to take over.

I too after months of not having any hiccups discovered  that my BMV was not zeroed. It was registering 140W into the batteries at zero draw. Zeroed the unit again. I wonder whether  2 lightning strikes close to the house (close enough to rattle windows and cause a flash in my DB despite a SPD) caused it to go out of kilter?
