April 24, 20233 yr Hi I bought these batteries for my brother to use on his inverter at home. He was using lead acid but I thought these would be better and last longer. Sadly the inverter doesn’t support LiFePO4 so we landed up buying gel instead. I kept the batteries to use on my dads growatt inverter but now we have decided to buy a 5kw instead so I have no use for them. There are two for sale.. would like to sell them as a pair.  Item: Security-prod 100ah (1280w) LiFePO4 (drop in lead acid replacement) Age: bought in Feb, never used Price: R6000 each Payment Method Accepted: FNB GEO or cash Packaging: original Condition: Brand new Location: Johannesburg South Reason: not needed Shipping: none Collection: yes Edited April 24, 20233 yr by Derek Ramos

May 3, 20233 yr @Derek Ramos, What is the brand/model of the inverter you tried to use the batteries on? You should be able to use the batteries with the inverter if it has a user setting. Set the inverter charge settings as: Bulk/boost voltage: 27.6V Float voltage: 27V Low Cut-off voltage: 22V High Cut-off voltage: 28.8V These settings are a bit more conservative to ensure the inverter does not cause the batteries to be switched off by the BMS. Â

Now I’m just sitting with these batteries.  I am considering buying another small inverter to use these batteries for my office but I don’t know which inverter would be best. Was thinking of maybe a 3kva growatt or somethingÂ

Some rated as 3000VA / 3000W and other 3000VA / 2400W. Growatt seems to be more expensive. Choose one which is most cost effective for your use. Edited May 4, 20233 yr by DeonBez
