July 12, 20233 yr Please note that voltage isn't a good indication of State of charge for Lithium batteries. Have a look at Solar Assistant. You can mount a Tablet in your house or use your phone to see all info from batt or inverter. You can also make changes. Edited July 12, 20233 yr by Jacques Ester

If you want to go a voltmeter road just get a 0-100V cheap voltmeter and connect on the Pos and Neg battery connections. Use a small 200mA in line fuse with thin protected wire to the point where you want to view it. @Jacques Ester Although volts not a accurate way for SOC it remains better than nothing. It's comparable to a car fuel gauge which we all use every day and also good enough for all those 1000's of Axperts running lithium batteries-me included. Normal reading with use is 12.9-13.3V per 12V battery. I do not cycle a lot but ensure my night most essential service is running from them(elec blanket) Never had disconnects in use. If more of us use a simple R100 voltmeter with lead acids and never go below 12V per 12V battery we will also get over 2 years out of them.

From my experience it's more reliable than the BMS. I have 4 packs LEOCH TB48100 parallel connected, the last purchased one looks problematic. Yesterday afternoon the 3 older ones reported 100% SOC at 50.6V while the 4th reported 56% SOC at the same voltage. I'm afraid that all BMS readings are erroneous as they are in contradiction with the battery voltage. I trust the battery voltage more than the BMS.
