July 20, 20233 yr Hi All I need some help here please. Ok so I have the Synapse 3kva invertor with 4 x G-energy 12v 120ah batteries connected up to make up the 24vilts needed for the invertor. I also have 3 x 330watt solar panels supplying power to the unit So it was professionally installed and intially it was running a maximum of about 500-1000watts for 4 hours ,then it just started one day ,when the power goes down,would not even last 10minutes then the low alarm will go off and hold it for about a further 10-15min. I've had the installer here to check all the settings. He is aldo at his end of suggestions.

I've had the installer here to check all the settings. He is aldo at his end of suggestions. Get those batteries charged full. If you don't have a suitable charger get a battery centre to do it. It will take some time. Then let them do a discharge test. If the inverter was not adjusted to cut out at 24V then there is a good chance they were discharged too low and got killed in the process. Sorry to be the bearer of perhaps bad news. 🤔
July 20, 20233 yr If your load is 1000 watts you are consuming 184 ah in 4 hours that is below 50% soc and will definetly not last. With LA they could last if you apply moderate loads. But like @Scorp007suggested get them tested.

July 23, 20233 yr Sound like you may have killed your batterys . Put the inverter under load and test each cell (battery) with multimeter to identify the bad cell (battery) . Bested is go lithium you get some lithium with out coms port from R12500 + 4 good quality AGM is also going to cost around that so best is lithium as you can discharge down to 10% this making 1 24v lithium 100ah almost equiliant to 4 100ah AGM as AGM battery can only discharge to max 50% Edited July 23, 20233 yr by GMAC
