Growatt 3kva OR RCT 3kva vmII

Featured Replies

My neighbor in CPT want to remove his Fivestar 3kva 24v and replace it with either Growatt 3kva or Rct 3kva vmII. As i don't have much experience with these smaller type inverters i won't give him the best advice or rather wich would be the best fit. He has very moderate load as this powers his granny flat with max 600w load. He has 2 x 330w solar panels installed. I would appreciate some feedback as to which make would be the best buy.

I would look at the Must or Solarwise 3kVA as well. The Solarwise is a 30A AC charging and only 40A DC but being lower rated it might be more reliable. Both have MPPT controllers.

A lot of the better priced units tend to have a PWM charge controller and I don't fancy them.

I don't have experience of them I have to add. If Thesunpays still offered a similar clone to what I got I would have put it 1st in the queue.
