October 28, 20232 yr I have just reinstalled the Axpert MKS 5K inverter with the C&W software update 73.00b. It works ok from AC utility to the 230V AC load, but when working from the Battery the 230v output flashes on /off in a load dependent frquency. Any good ideas?

Why not the latest patched firmware version, 73.00e? 17 hours ago, sindus said: when working from the Battery the 230v output flashes on /off in a load dependent frequency. 73.xxy is for PF0.8 non-64 V models. It sounds like you might have a different model; there are patched firmwares for those models too. Can you post a picture of your ratings sticker on the side, and report the highest value that settings 26 or 27 will go to? It will probably be 58.4 V or 64.0 V.
October 30, 20232 yr Author I have a 16s 105 Ah EVE Battery, which have been working fine for 1,5 year. The reason why its the 73.00b soft is that i loaded this software in app.2 years ago. In the mean time i bought an easun inverter which has been running until now and when it came up with a fault i installed the axtert again and the this happened. the settings in 26 is 57.6 V

But if you have reflashed with 73.00b, then that will be 58.4 V. Do you know what firmware version it originally came with? Edited October 31, 20232 yr by Coulomb
November 1, 20232 yr Author The original software was apperantly a clone. After a certain runtime a kind of clone trap shut the inverter completely down.

More likely it was original, but they didn't know how to set up the boot loader properly to avoid fault code 90. Do you happen to know what the original firmware version number was? Otherwise, please post a photo of the ratings sticker on the side of the inverter, to check if 73.00x is right for your inverter.

All I can suggest is, next time you go up there, take everything needed to thoroughly check the inverter model, and if necessary reflash with 74.40e or 72.20e as appropriate. Though I suspect it can't be that it would need 72.20e because it would use a different reflash command. So basically you would be checking the label to see if it says 4 kW (73.00x) or 5 kW (74.40e). It's presumably 5 kVA.
