November 13, 20232 yr I have two male cable ends, one RCA, the other co-axial that I need to . Is there a vendor that supplies a female coupler, or should I make up a cable, and if so, is it a simple inside-inside, outside-outside connection? Thanks!

Yes, but what is this for? the TV Co-ax connector, presumably is on RG59 or similar coax and the RCA, heck usually on audio cable/thin coax.. either way, you will have to make up a linking cable, I have never seen an adapter for those tow different use plugs top be able to join.
November 13, 20232 yr Author thanks. It's actually for a depth sounder transducer on a sailboat. Existing through-hull transducer (RCA) instrument is damaged beyond repair. Alternate display unit uses co-axial, but transducer is mounted inboard and thus less reliable. I want to connect the RCA cabled transducer to the co-axial device. Figured it was a bit complicated to explain the context in the original post 😉 Edited November 13, 20232 yr by Chad
November 13, 20232 yr There's a lot of adaptors you can buy. The only difficult thing is finding the right combination of male-female. Here's an example: Maincore Adaptador de cable coaxial hembra a RCA macho adaptador de cable de antena coaxial TV RF : Amazon.es: Electrónica
November 13, 20232 yr In the past we were supplied with specialized connectors by Hiconnex as well. Maybe it's worth a try?
November 13, 20232 yr Author Lekka - thanks all. Definitely have a few workable options. Much appreciated.
