January 25, 20242 yr Good morning. We just replaced our 5KW Fivestar with a 6.2KW Vito. So far so good. Ours are supposed to have built in Wi-Fi, but struggling to get it connected.
February 12, 20242 yr My son bought a 10kW Vito. H say technical support is nonexistent and the only way he could get it to connect to the internet was to use the comms port from his old Mecer inverter. Apart from that, he is very happy with it. It needs a dongle to connect to the intrnet, but the supplier doesn't have stock.
March 8, 20242 yr Hi there, I see this was posted in Jan, I am sorry that I am only seeing it now. I bought the same inverter in Dec 23, I had it installed early Jan 24. Yeah, so the inverter works well. It does not connect to internet as there is no dongle for it, I have asked the supplier to source it, I am still waiting for that. Then, the fan only stops when there is no power. This is very staging for me as I can't believe that this won't wear something out, but I am told that is how it is. Then, I had a qualified electrician do the installation, but when he had questions, the supplier said if they speak to him, they will charge me. They say any qualified electrician should know what to do. He says he does not know the inverter or batteries (2x sVolt) and of course, the client is stuck in the middle. Yes, it is working as expected, perhaps I expected more. Anyway, I hope this helps.
May 24, 20242 yr Solar warehouse now has stock of the dongle got mine yesterday. I was also told when buying it has built in WIFI but it does not Good inverter though no issues on the 10KW
June 10, 20241 yr Good day We have a Vito SH 10.2 inverter. It works like a dream but all of a sudden it stops the power feed to the house and there is bp in red at the battery space. We have installed new fuses at the battery disconnecting lever because it seemed as if one was not working after testing the fuses. Unfortunately the inverter is still doing the same thing. Can anyone assist with where to look next. I can't find a user manual to download in order to check the trouble shooting guide.
June 11, 20241 yr Is it perhaps being over-charged by the inverter? Then the battery's BMS would disconnect from the inverter, triggering the BP (Battery Presence) warning or error. If the battery is new but spent a lot of time in a warehouse, it may just need some time to equalise. Are you seeing voltage at the battery terminals, and if so also at the inverter's battery terminals?

October 13, 20241 yr Hi Has anyone had any luck connecting the WiFi module for this inverter. It works when using the singular comms port but my understanding is that port is needed to be connected to the battery BMS

I have bought the seperate WiFi adapter, it works when connected to the inverter through the COMS port. My concern is that I'm not sure whether the inverter needs to be connected to the battery through that port. That's how it was setup by the installers

February 6, 20251 yr I hade a VITO inverter installed 2 weeks ago and this weekend all hell broke loos. The bP light went on and the battery was only on 6.1 V and does not want to charges. The installers are not taking my calls and i'm still waiting for the Battery manufacturer to respond to me as i'm thinking the batter might be faulty. The volt should not go that low on a Lithium ion battery?

Exact same issue - first time i had to pay to send out the batteries to be charged . this worked. I managed to get the dongle but not many resources online to figure this out. I found some reivew for the batteries and i found an interesting line item 'Turns out it was a very silly mistake from my side, the dip switch was not configured properly (I left them all down as per the manual, where dip switch 1 should be in the up position). As soon as we did that, the comms started working'Starting ti think the inverter doesnt communicate with the batteries . Nonetheless - if you had guidance/assistance . please let me know - Avoiding yet another callout

It had to take a power outage for me to get this right. Now to figure out how to prevent SOC getting so low and to switch to grid at xxx% SOC
