February 14, 20242 yr Anybody have experience with this type of solar panel cleaning fluid? https://www.takealot.com/xtreem-clean-signature-range-solar-panel-cleaner-5l/PLID93229062
February 14, 20242 yr Most solar panels have a protective anti-glare coating which can be damaged removed by cleaning with any sort of detergent. Best way to clean your panels is gently with water and a soft broom or mop. Edited February 14, 20242 yr by WannabeSolarSparky
February 14, 20242 yr I have seen a friend use that Xtreem brand of cleaning products, but he is a mechanic so its more harsher cleaning detergents I assume. I see Shield make a solar panel cleaner which I would be willing to try given that Shield is a long standing brand and that they state it will not damage the panels. I placed an order for some Shield solar panel cleaner but the place had no stock and refunded my money 🙃
February 19, 20242 yr Plain old hose and water, cleaned mine a couple months ago and still seems fine. Will do another hose off after 18:00 at night Edited February 19, 20242 yr by Raiden2912
