leaves
I really like meanwell imverters. However I find them pretty costly from Current Automation. The cost seams close to that of victron? L
___
Made in Taiwan. Which ironically is a step up from "made in China", and it all gets interesting because Taiwan is officially the "Republic of China" which isn't the same place as "The people's Republic of China" aka red china aka communist China.Funny how things change. These days Hong Kong and Taiwan can actually be considered quality. Sometimes. :-)

Gnome
I did a fairly extensive investigation into which inverter to buy. Meanwell, Cotek (also sold as Thor, Samlex and Go Power!), Victron, Outback and SMA are the classic "high quality" brands. VoltronicPower is a new comer from China, started not too long ago. But their Axpert/Mecer/PIP/Gaint (eg. sold under various brands) is very high quality also. IMO the Axpert is a better product than the Meanwell. The charger has higher capacity and overall the design seems more modern. bmeagle
