  5. i openly mark up on my"dealer price" as a registered the lies herein, you study, pay your dues, use large distributors, and then suck it up folks.....those fackin distributors sell at the same price to tom dick and harry over the phone....ther is no special price for installers, we or i pay the same as a home user even tho i spend more than r1m to R2m between two distributors......and then i charge for installations. Even worse, most of the "customers" don't even want to pay a deposit and still expect a lower price.....I don't advertise, word of mouth only and here is to year 19.........if you dont offer service with a markup, you not going to be in business tomorrow....
  6. perhaps i a wrong here..however.... you walk into a shop, pay for something and leave with it all good, you want to buy something from an installer expect him to pay for it, deliver it , install it then hope he gets paid? just because you have to wait for the installation to take place does not mean you must not pay for your goods its no different from walking into a shop, just withhold the install component and have the goods delivered. You hold on to them till install. just my thoughts... you dont think installers are also caught out by unscrupulous home owners...been there friend, after 19 years in the game, i get to read them like a book. You have to understand margins are not that great for installers, so it is not in their interest to get terms and the small guys also have difficulty in getting terms i suppose and to top it, most of the distributors do not offer terms, C.O.D. only. on my installs i offer my client two options: 1 , pay for your materials and hold the install fee until switch on, and 2. i use my capital, you pay a higher price and all good. So most people want the lowest price or free as it goes in S.A. but you won't get me to use my capital on your job without a premium.. thats just my 2cents
  7. sirrius supercap charges up like a vacuum cleaner sucking from 0 to full charge on the 7.1kwh in 45min

  10. i suppose it depends from company to company. I ask my clients to cover the cost of their material purchase and have it delivered immediately, and book an install date with them, once installed and switched on, balance of payment please.....i feel it protects both parties, and has worked for me for 19 years....
  11. Goodwe in China, as i was working directly with them wrt to what you guys are trying and i was the initial importer into SA of Goodwe about 7 years back the blue then yellow now cream....

  17. Happy birthday young man, hope you have an awesome year...
  18. you are spot on, on one occasion over a three day bad period i used 497ah, deepest ever, on average in the am, they sit at 87% to 92% charge still and by 10-11am on sunny days, fully charged. they were a blessing to me being off grid and just before lithiums became available albei at a higher price
  19. i use the Raylite Msolr 2volt cells 1050ah, 3 years in on them, once cycled x 1. For me once a month gravity check and top up with distilled water, done..... if my inverters could work with lithiums, i would just for more ease of use, space savings, etc, but hey these FLA's sure work well, totally off grid and fully charged by 11am most days..

Okay, my importer has them on his database, small shop with no stock. he has queried the model of selling at below cost incl of VAT......the reply is we make money from selling the panels....i would be carefull in dealing or should i say handing over any funds before the product is in front of you, as my distributor does not send shipments out before payment in full from supplier

    Dyness powerbox

checking with my importer, seems dicey as the price is just above cost excl

    Dyness powerbox

I must add, that the owners of Dyness are actually ex members of pylontech, that went in another direction, you can see the visible similarity inside the units. The Dyness i find are actually cheaper than the pylons and have slightly higher output for eg. the pylon 3.4 = dyness 3.6
