Just want to indicate that I am in no way an expert.

I have a Sunsynk 8kw inverter with 2x5.32 batteries.

I am having an issue on the inverter where the power does not seem to be flowing the correct direction on the System Flow Chart.  Please see Picture below;

 

However, if I switch the Grid (Eskom) off, then the flow looks normal. Please see picture below. Why is it behaving like that and what setting must I change to correct this ?

Looks like you CT coil is either not installed or installed incorrectly.

I agree with @Nexuss it has to do with the ct looks like it is installed in the wrong location after the inverter utility input. Can you take a picture of the ct position in your db board. It needs to be on the utility incoming feeder before any loads.
