Comms issue - Solis s6 6kw & Freedom Won etower battery

UPDATE: I have since realised the Installer had put the CT-coil on the wrong pins hence the issues I was experiencing. I have since moved the CT-coil to the correct pins and am now getting correct data. Only thing left is to have installer, when he "eventually" comes around to move the CT-coil to the main DB on the main incoming hot leg (Grid cable). This will enable me to see how much power (information) is also going to the non-essential load.

I also did a physical check of my panels and realized one of my panels had failed and because all my initial 12 panels were in series, I was unable to get any charge from the PV. Again the installer set me up as "Owner", so cannot update the inverter to let it know am now running 11 x 250w panels.

Solis generally is very reluctant to change or update settings as requested by Owner, rightfully so I guess due to warranty issues, but if a Plant Owner is not able to reach an installer or wants to change Installers or even change wifi password, this is not easily possible.

My only gripe is, surely a Plant Owner should not be held to ransom by the initial installer. For example, to change this minor amends or if I get a separate installer to add more panels at a cheaper price, one cannot update this information.

Added information.

The inverter doesn't care about the count of panels. Just the incoming volts x amps, and that, it only needs to know at the time of receiving.

There is no place to configure this on an inverter. The solis cloud, however, does have a spot for this and it doesn't affect the results. It's just used for plotting on their portal.

Ps, you should be able to change it here (Modify Info)

I think you may have been set as “Advanced User” or “Installer”, I do not have the 3-dots option as I was set up by Installer as Owner.
