April 10, 20197 yr Hi Guys, I have an axpert 3kVA installed in the house with 6 panels and 24V battery, when I tried to connect the air conditioner having 2hp, the inverter shutdown and it doesn't turn on again even in a perfect sunny day. Can someone help me with this? Thank you
April 10, 20197 yr Try looking @ setting 06 Auto restart when overload occurs. (May have another number, this is from a 5kVA system) It is disabled by default. So enable it. At least the Inv. should recover then.

A typical Axpert has a surge rating of 2x rated output, to 6 kVA. I think the air conditioner is just too big for the inverter. It sound like you've also tripped some protection somewhere, probably on the battery side to prevent the inverter from coming on. Hopefully, the inverter hasn't been damaged by the overload. They are supposed to be short-circuit and overload proof, but I'm always wary of testing that. Check for over 25 V at the inverter battery terminals, and if present see if you can check the internal fuse. It's usually just inside the battery terminals. Note that opening the cover will void your warranty.

I mean your nominally 24 V battery will read over 25 V with a multimeter if it's healthy, so just make sure that you see that 25 V or more at the battery terminals of your inverter. The inverter won't turn on without that.
