Correct. Absolutely nothing wrong with paper/pencil, but

1. CAD stimulates the brain

2. You can always 3d print / CNC / laser cut your design to see if it is suitable.

bit big to 3d print but ...maybe a scale model of sorts...

Tx havent worked with cad since i was in school...

not much but when you need to check loads etc it helps to have cad drawings...

A so you want to calculate strains and stresses on the design.

ja sort of but im sure the wall will hold atleast ... not too heavy just 4 panels on one bracket and 3 on otherside...
