July 14, 20197 yr Good day guys. I want to design a new solar system for a house we are building. 10 000w of panels 10kw inverter 4 Pylontech. 3000 My confusion is that I am not sure on what inverter to get to give me at least 10kw. The new Sunsynk looks good for an 8kw inverter. Then there are 2 x 5kw Axperts in parallel. Or splitting the DB and have a hybrid on non essential and hybrid on essential which I don’t like. Last is the Victron range but I am not sure how they work. Are they Hybrid units. I currently have a Goodwe 4.6 ES and it works perfectly so I would like something that works like the Goodwe I would appreciate all the advice

They are Hybrids , but differs from most other Hybrids by having separate MPPT chargers. I am not aware of any other brand that can handle the pass-though current Victron can.

You can add MLT Powerstar to the list that can Handle pass-through. It's got it's own build in Shunt that can check how much power it gets from your separate MPPT " it's got a input on the back" and then shows it on the unit. It's even got 4 output settings that they call Smart output it can manage so when you have no load dearing the day it can shift that power what sun is generating to something like your geyser or anything that the inverter can handle. There is more stuff this unit can do that i still need to read up and check but I'm really impres with my H8 unit.

Can the power from the panels go straight to the load via the inverter?

They have bigger units to. on Page 14 you can check the info http://mltinverters.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Powerstar-UM-AA-77.pdf and you can check the web page to. They local SA product.
