December 30, 20196 yr Could it have been Eq, i.e. the lower segment of the "9" wasn't on, hence this was a "q"? Does your model have equalisation facilities? For example, can setting 26 (bulk/absorb voltage) go past 58.4 V to 64 V?
December 30, 20196 yr Yes, I have equalization facilities, but now I'm not there to check settings 26. Anyway, this morning, I just unchecked equalization from setting for the moment until someone clarify me if it's alright to be checked with LiFePo4 batteries from Pylontech and of course the values. I'm newbie into this, and I'm trying to not set fire to my holiday house. 😜

You usually don't want equalisation with an LFP (LiFePO₄) battery, such as a PylonTech. That's part of the reason for the Eq sign, it's a warning that something potentially dangerous is happening.

When I uncheck battery equalisation, E9 warning dissepeared. I still have 04 fault every day, in the morning and evening in twilight.

The battery is considered low when it's 2.0 V or less over the battery low DC cutoff voltage (setting 29). This isn't documented anywhere that I'm aware of. It doesn't lose its "low battery" status until the battery voltage rises 4.0 V above setting 29. (The 2.0 V becomes 0.5 V in the LFP flavour of the patched firmwares, and the 4.0 V becomes 1.0 V. ) So try reducing setting 29 by a volt or two. See also FAQ #1 here.

I'm back with my vendor settings. From factory settings I change next : 02=50A 05=USE 12=48V 13=51V 20=LOF 26=53,2V 27=53V 29=47,5 Battery equalisation I uncheck and E9 dissepeared. Now, I have try to reduce 29 from 47,5 V to 46,5V for 04 fault ? P. S. I check 26 and max value it's 58,4V (I don't have 64)

It's difficult to be clear when using seven segments for letters. 7 hours ago, uke said: Now, I have try to reduce 29 from 47,5 V to 46,5V for 04 fault ? I would make it 45.5 V, so that you don't switch to utility earlier than what setting 12 dictates. This is mainly for 04 warnings, not errors. 7 hours ago, uke said: I check 26 and max value it's 58,4V (I don't have 64) That's a Good Thing™, unless you have flooded lead acid batteries that require the very high equalisation voltage. The 1:7 transformer ratio in the 64 V models means that clipping of the output starts occurring at about 47.9 V in the 64 V models. Interesting that you have a non-64 V model, yet with equalisation in the firmware. Did it come from the factory with the firmware you are running now? My apologies if this was already posted.

My apologies if this was already posted. I think so. All I can say about this is that I didn't update anything and romanian vendors are very mysterious. When I asked if I could attach a hydro (or wind turbine) generator to this plant, they told me they would not recommend it. No yes or no, no why.
January 2, 20206 yr @ Coulomb I have a none 64 volt unit that was supplied by Mecer with equalisation function .
January 6, 20206 yr @Coulomb Thank you for the advice you gave me last time. Everything is going well now. No more fault or warning!
November 7, 20205 yr i have an E9 message on the Geyserwise which means pump not working. it’s been stormy with lots of lightening. some hail and gusty winds...this solar panel and small solar power panel were installed by a reputable company. We cant check anything because its a second story roof plus we are old, my husband is 80 so no going on the roof. i have insurance , do any of you think that i should ask for the insurance to come and assess the problem. really miss our lovely hot water to shower at night, I can put the electricity on to heat the water but very expensive. Please help!!

I have an Effekta AX-M 5KVA and yesterday appeared on screen E9 without red light foult. Right after, appeared 04 (with red led) and today I make a reset settings from factory and both dissepeared. I have to mention 04 fault event appears on screen every day, one time in the morning and one time evening, but seller's assured me it's not a problem. In user manual I read about 09 have internal components failed and return to repair center but I'm not sure if it is similar with E9. Please help me. I wish everyone a happy new year!
