Hmm I'm down in capetown.

Maybe I'll have to come and fetch them...

Let me know if you need someone to help fill a pallet's worth of panels...

I can ask my uncle to store it with him till I can come and fetch it...

Or I'll have to look at a courier option...

around R2600 for 255Wp and R3100 for 305Wp incl vat and delivery to JHB

But if Mr Zuma open his mouth that could double overnite :-) prices seem very unstable some prices have increase between 10-20% since last year.

Prices have gone up around 40c/Wp

What do you guys think of these??

http://www.solarsolved.co.za/index.php/products/solar-panel/jinko-solar/jinko-panels-260watt-detail

260 watt jinko panels at R6.80 excl vat but without a Warrantee... for every 4 you buy you get one free at that price... could be your warrantee but in the meantime you also use them...

I  supplemented an existing array of 5 x 250 Wp panels for a customer with 4 more of the 260 Wp Jinko panels at the same price just before Christmas. Short time, but seems to work just fine! (He accepts the risk of no warranty).

The only issue for me would be to find someone to take 15 panels... then it could be a good deal...

although I preferably have to wait for my wife to find a permanent work again before I fork out R20 000 on panels and R30 000 on an Imeon inverter... ai sooo tempted...

Dude... I have to paint my house. The best quote so far is 23k! Now to be fair, it's for 600 square meters of exterior wall, so that is to be expected... but still. No new toys until the second half of the year :-)

I am also done with expenses.

Had to make room for the son ... R35k later.

Had to sort a retainer wall, the original builder was an #($*% idiot. He used those cement blocks, single row, to keep the hill where it is supposed to stay. R48k later.

I am now so moeg. Sommer want to switch off the inverter. :D
