March 11, 201610 yr Author Ok guys quick update edmundp came over to my place yesterday and tried his latop shame issue that I had. He was very help full even help me disconnect the inverter thanks for the help ed. Took the inverter into rectron this morning for repairs will let you know what is the outcome.

March 11, 201610 yr Author Update: Rectron just phoned me they replaced the usb com board all working now will pick it up this afternoon and put it back. Now I want to buy the victron bmv 702 and start playing with software.

March 19, 201610 yr I'm a newbie to this forum but was keen to share the following - just installed an Axpert 3kVA to power up some essential loads (electric gate motor, fence intercom and emergency lighting for a large complex. The Control panel of the inverter is not visible to the user and so had to install the the remote control panel which has RJ45 connectors on it. The documentation is poor - but Voltronic supply a new interface comm board which replaces the USB port with an RJ45 - note it's not a network interface to the Internet- you still need to connect the RS232 via USB converter / runs ok with Win7 - can't comment on the other flavours- Vaughan
