December 16, 20232 yr Author @Jaco Brits Please follow Scorp007 suggestion afterwards check your Program settings: Program 05: Make sure you are in "USE" setting this will allow you to set you battery charge settings and not drain the batteries to zero volts. Program 11: Maximum utility charging current set to 20A ( need more battery info) Program 16: Charge source priority (you did not mention if you are using Solar panels) choose CUt this will charge the batteries Utility only. Program 26: Bulk Charging voltage set to 55.2v (not sure what battery type you have the default is 56.4v) Program 27: Floating Charge set to 54v Program 29 Low DC cut-off voltage (Important) default is 42v set the voltage to 47v or 46v Program 33: Battery equalization enable choose EEn Program 34: Battery equalization voltage set to 54.5v It is important to give more information regarding what batteries you have, be it lead acid or gel this helps better for recommended charge settings

It's also unfortunately possible that you have dried capacitors in the power supplies. The Repair Journey Started thread covers this and many other repair topics well. It seems that this problem tends to show more often after an inverter it switched back on. It's a relatively inexpensive repair in parts, so it's a fairly cheap repair if you can repair it yourself. But hopefully you can get it started other ways.
March 15, 20242 yr Hello, I have a Mecer power systems 2400VA inverter. I have it running my pc and monitors. It was working fine until loadshedding hit. I heard what sounded a like a loud bang as the power went off and the inverter lost power. It will not switch back on. I have very little knowledge of this stuff, so I dont't even know where to begin. Can I take it to someone? Any help would be appreciated. I replaced the batteries last year and they were kak expensive. Would like to get it running again.

Share your area and someone might recommend a place to repair. No practical to give a name in Gauteng if you are based in CoCT.
March 19, 20242 yr Author Hi There, Your best bet is to have your Mecer Inverter checked by the agents Mustek, there is one in in Midrand 322 15th Rd, Randjespark, Midrand, 1685 +27 11 237 1000
June 15, 20241 yr Hi gents. Quick question. Can the Mecer Ĺobo 2400VA start up without battery connected to it? TIA
January 1, 20251 yr Once the Inverter shuts down from low battery it does not recover on its own, it actually shuts down and the ON/OFF switch trips. Has to be manually connected a cure or work around for this? Cheers. It is working in a remote area with no human intervention possible.
