Growatt Invert Settings the same as Axpert - Premature Float charge

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have noticed that the Growatt Invert settings and Layout are the same as the Axpert inverter. As for the Premature float in the Axpert and with Firmware to be upgraded, does the same apply to the Growatt or has this been sorted.

The reason that I am asking is that my port does not work on my axpert so upgrading firmware is out. So I have to buy a new Inverter and looking at the Growatt.

Feedback will be appreciated

You mean the RS-232 port? It's possible to update main (DSP, U1) firmware through the USB port via an on-the-go cable, and I'm trying to figure out whether it's possible to update the removable display firmware that way as well (some have reported problems). [ Edit: it is not possible to update the removable display firmware with USB; that firmware has to be updated from a PC via the RS-232 port. ]

Have you attempted to obtain a replacement removable display? That would seem easier than replacing the whole inverter.

I have similar problem with my Axpert (Synerji) MKS 5K . The RS232 connection to the remote control panel works. But the RS232 Out from the remote panel with the supplied cable doesn't. I suspect wrong wiring in the cable. Cannot check because I do not have the pin out of the connector.
