I have a look means taking off conduit to put DC multimeter clamp on the PV cables. Will have to wait till the weekend cattle work today and tomorrow. ___ and Arandoza
___
Here is my little setup. It's sitting on top of the Piano... cause that's the closest to the ADSL modem so I can reach the CCGX with an ethernet cable :-) I have an old laptop brick supplying that little red buck/boost converter, which feeds the MPPT with 21V and 200mA. Works beautifully. Also shows that the smaller MPPTs can go down right to 2 watts or so. The larger ones (like my 150/70) restarts continuously until it can sustain around 20 watts or so. viper_za
Chris Hobson
Had a moment waiting for staff and quickly did an Axpert test for TTT. Bit difficult doing it singlehanded but I record Voltages between 71V and 75V on the PV side and between 31 and 32A. At the same time we were getting 2324W in on the inverter. So if we go with the max V and max Amps the on the PV side we have 2400W and after the MPPT 2324W for a 96.8% efficiency. I will do another test in a couple of days. Addition - Plonky I love that your wife's Sarie doubles as a project board. Chris Hobson
...and as to whether it is a fake 31-32A in and 43A out.
