Flickering lights when Inverter switches mode

Hi all,

Question: Is it normal to experience flickering of all lights in the house during the second or so that the inverter switches between battery and grid source output modes? 
The flickering occurs even under low total load.

Additional info:
I have a combination of incandescent bulbs and LED lights in the house.

There is a single geyser and stove that runs directly from the grid on separate circuits, not via the inverter

I include pictures and some setting and specs from the software, hopefully it is of some help.

System consist of 1x battery, 6x solar panels connected to a single inverter

I don’t think flickering of lights is normal, my own lights make a slight flick when changing over.

I noticed the 60A is your inverter set to charge the pylontech at 60A? if so, I think it’s to high for a US2000 it should be set at 25A the same as recommended discharge current, otherwise you might shorten the battery lifespan.

I will have a look the 60A setting, if indeed it is set to that.

One US2000 is very light for this setup; that won't be helping.

That model with the heatsink on top is getting quite old. I get the feeling that the relays in these Axperts take a pounding, and the contacts may be pitted.

You could also check that you are using UPS AC input range; that will halve the changeover time.

Your battery voltage settings (53.2 V) are far too high. Yes, it's what Pylontech recommends, but it's too high for the Axperts that overshoot their targets. The battery will be disconnecting at times, probably contributing to wobbly changeovers. Search this forum for better Pylontech settings for Axperts.

I am not sure exactly what to change. Would you suggest changing both these settings under battery to the following? What else?

Max charge current: 60 A  --->  30/40A
Max AC charge current: 10 A  ---> 30A

I’m sure most inverters will have a slight dimming or brightening of lights when the inverter switches between modes due to the voltage difference of grid and inverter power as well as that milli-second switchover duration. My own system been going fine for a few years now and I see the switchover every night with my led lights as my system switches over on a timer setting. The problem however of flickering could be a result like Coulomb mentioned if the relays in the inverter had some excessive wear and tear. I think that type of flicking on and off could possibly cause damage to hard drives and equipment sensitive to surges.

I get flickering on some lights when it switches from solar priority to Grid. SO at sunset it flickers as it jumps between grid and the last of the sunshine. I personally do not like flickering. One LCD monitor flickers, but nothing else. I just hear the clicking.
