For those of you who don't have the time to work out how to set up everything to connect to your Sunsynk inverter.

I have a few 2nd hand Raspberry Pi 2B's that a friend asked if I could sell for him. 

I have loaded them up with software to connect to your inverter + a few nice to haves.  

Includes:

- Raspberry Pi 2B 

- 2A power supply

- 8gb Sandisk Ultra MicroSD card

- Raspberry Pi case

- USB - RS485 Converter + RJ 45 Cable 

- You will need an ethernet connection as they have no wifi

Preloaded with: 

Home Assistant

Node Red - loaded up with palette's and the flows from @Bloubul7

Grafana - loaded with a basic Solar Dash that you can customise yourself after you watch some Youtube videos

Influx DB - Setup the database to store 90 days of data, not sure about how long before it starts slowing the pi down may be able to handle more. 

If you go down the rabbit hole of Home Assistant integrations you will probably need to upgrade at some stage but handles the data from the Sunsynk and I think will run a bit of load management as well. 

 Cost is R600 each - can ship at your expense with courier @ +- R100

I am newbie to this forum, so please be patient if do not come across as being as clued up as the other members.

I am interested in buying one of the RPi's with preloaded software if still available.

I have a SunSynk 8,8kW 48V Hybrid bi-Directional Inverter installed.  I assume there will be no compatibility issues.

I do have available and it will be compatible with you Inverter. 

Please do not think that I am a guru by any means.

I have just spent a lot of time watching video's, asking @Bloubul7questions and figuring things out. 

I know that most people don't have the time to work everything out themselves and thought it would be a good idea to configure some so that they are working and people can customise them however they want from there.

Price goes up slightly to R700 as I had to go and buy some more RS485-USB adapters that were more expensive than the ones I was using 🙂

Don't have any more raspberry pi's I am afraid. 

There are however quite a few options available that are pretty easy to do. 

My suggestion would be to look for an Intel NUC or such like if you don't have a raspberry pi as you can pick a NUC up pretty cheap and they are a load more powerful. 

Loads of  video's on Home Assistant installations and there are lots of easy ways to connect to your inverter now.
