This is main firmware version 41.17 for the Axpert VM III. VM3.hex file is dated 25/12/2020. It should work for both 5000 W 48 V and 3000 W 24 V models, as well as 5200 W and 3200 W variants. I don't own a VM III, use at your own risk.

There is only one version of this file; I had to tell it I'm uploading a new version to correct the "version" information; so easy to overlook that edit box when uploading. Sigh.

These training manuals were released in January 2021. If anyone has later / more up to date versions, please post them?

This is a PDF file showing how to perform firmware update on an Axpert VM III, via RS-232 and a Windows computer. USB firmware updating is not covered.
A USB to RS-232 adapter is required.

This is WatchPower V1.14SP8 for Windows for Axpert VM-III and other inverters alike, works with serial RS232 and USB connections, downloaded from mppsolar.com, it's the latest version available as of 2021-08-15

This is the main firmware version 71.86 for the Axpert MKS II 5K-48, also known as the PIP-5048MG and many other names. This inverter has a 450 V max solar charge controller, and does not have a removable display. It can be paralleled. Rated output is 5 kW and 5 kVA (PF1.0). Do not use this firmware with any other model. Not to be confused with the Axpert King firmware with the exact same version number!

Axpert VM III  and ISolar SMV III (plus others) with removable display BMS pinout and protocol

Removable panel (display/MCU/BMS) firmware for Axpert King 5 kW. Use with main firmware version 71.92. It implements support for various lithium batteries with BMS.

This version adds two more BMS options (BAK and LIB) compared to 02.40. It also fixes a few bugs with the Lib Voltronic protocol and works with up to 16 batteries in parallel now.

Main firmware version 71.97 for Axpert King. Warning 69 has been removed completely.

Removable display firmware version 02.66 for Axpert King or Axpert VM III. Handles BMS protocols Pylontech, Weco, Soltaro, LiB and LiC.

This is one of the more detailed service manuals, with partial schematic diagrams for nearly all sections. Should be useful for the far more common Axpert VM III.

This is part 1 of a 2 part training manual on the Sunsynk Hybrid inverter. Part 1 is more general in terms of PV, energy, inverters etc ... A good read if you can ignore all the watermarks. 

Service manual with topology, description of each board, troubleshooting. Contains one or two simplified schematics.

Not as exhaustive as the manual for the MS 4-5KVA but covers testing and repair for the King.

Axpert King main firmware version 71.94. Use with recent removable display firmware such as version 02.49.

Fixes the problem of PV power dropping to zero when using the direct to BMS cable. Also seems to contain the fix in 71.93 for stopping AC charging when settings dictate.

This is the latest Sunsynk training manual released by Sunsynk. It is more detailed the previous version and allows for more expansive explanations. As a service company we will unpack the manual in due course and explain in detail many important elements found in the manual for everyones benefit, both installer and consumer.
