This is my experience and I have contacted Hubble directly. If I get banned for posting my honest opinion and experience then the forum is pointless. I challenge Hubble to come and test my battery at my home and prove otherwise, and I will retract my recommendation.

He has updated the software juts two weeks ago. He is monitoring the capacity, but I can tell that the battery can only hokd 2.2kwh of charge. He has also troubleshooted using the AGM settings. I will give it another week before a warranty claim is submitted.

My AM2 is from August 2021. Only started to trouble me in March 2022. I would not recommend the AM2 as Hubble have no interest in solving the problems.

The issues with my AM2 are not fixed. I would not recommend the AM2 as a battery. Support has been really poor.

I've had my firmware updated and the the battery now refuses to go below 52% SOC. This was the original issue, then it suddenly dropped to 0% and was erratic. I basically have about 40% capacity in the battery after 7 months. @HubbleLithiumPlease can you comment, as your batteries are failing left right and centre.

I'm also having this issue. Battery was installed in Sep 2021. It's amazing that we are all having problems at the same time. Surely the software doesn't suddenly go haywire to the extent that the battery capacity halves? What is the fix for this?

Sunsynk 12kw 3 Phase and Hubble AM2 - Starting to have issues ...
Hi, There was a wobble in the system ... and I'm not sure if it is the inverter or the battery. Battery initially refused to go below 55%, and then overnight despite the settings on the inverter it drained completed. I restarted the inverter and it is now back up and running, however the capacity of the single Hubble AM2 sees to be only around 3kwh. I've lost 40% capacity and the battery was installed in Sep 2021. I have contacted the installer who thinks the inverter needs a firmware update. Anyone else have this experience?

What size battery disconnect switch
My view, was to go with a 250a and limit the charge and discharge to 210a. The difference in price between the 250a and 400a fuse disconnector is significant. Also depends on the number of panels you have and name plate capacity. If nameplate capacity is less than 10000w+your normal demand, then there should be no issue. You will loose about 2000w by derating the inverter charge/discharge.

Sunsynk/Hubble backup system
Hi ... I don't think the hubble has a place for the battery probe to go in, so the 28.8 degrees battery temp is probably ambient room temp. Not sure whey you have multiple battery packs ... the only one that make sense is the battery. I have single hubble on my sunsynk and it only show battery with the stats (your third last image). May have something to do with the dip switches on the hubble? It should be on master? You should cycle the battery a bit and not leave it on 80% all the time. The other guys can advise how to do this.

12 kW 3 Phase System Installed - Experience so Far
Hi, My night load is as follows: 18.00-23.00: Around 600w per hour. Power is for lights, 2 TVs and a few computers and other electronics including a separate fridge and freezer. 23.00-06.00: around 300w per hour. TVs are off. Most lights are off. Only fridges and a pond pump is on continuously. I have two normal geysers. One 3kw and the other 4kw. The 3kw comes on between 4.20-5.30. That gets fully hot from warm water in the geyser the night before. This load is not included in the nightnload. The second geyser comes on at 6.50-7.30 and usually gets full hot by 7.15 unless the water was Luke warm when it started up. My panels 8x540w are north facing and at the moment go from 200w at 9.10 to around 2500w by 9.20. they can get up to 4kw during the day like today in JHB. With clouds today, I produced 20kwh. During the day the geyser both come on until fully hot, pool pump runs from 8.30 until 16.30, mostly off grid and the dishwasher runs in addition to the normal day loads of around 600w per hour. Most of my consumption between 8.30 and 18.00 is off grid. I have 1 x Hubble AM2. By 18.00 the Hubble is set to be 90% or above in case of loadahedding or an outage. It either is full from solar, or the grid tops it up. Grid top up only happens on very cloudy days, which is not too often. My consumption after 18.00-00.00 is from the grid. The battery starts to drain at 00.00 and usually I'm off grid until about 30 mins into the first geyser heating. Battery goes down to 30% and holds that until 06.00 and then drains to 25% until 07.00. by that time my usage is partly battery partly the solar which by 07.00 is around 200w. The second geyser is purely on grid. My daily consumption is roughly 30kwh and I produce around 550kwh per month. You will have a fantastic system with four batteries. Not sure why your consumption is so high per day. Probably aircons? Hope this helps. I need to extend my system by another 2x batteries and about 10x 540w panels to be off grid for 90-95% of consumption.

12 kW 3 Phase System Installed - Experience so Far
Hi iMercury, The 3 Phase Sunsynk is great. I have the whole house connected to the inverter. 2 Geysers (3kw and 4kw), an oven (2kw) pool pump (0.75kw). Stove is gas. The loads are reasonably balanced, except the kettle (1.5kw), microwave (2kw), geyser (3kw) and a few household plugs (0.5kw) is on the same phase. The grid comes in when the battery or panels cannot deliver. There was a night in Jan that I had to put on both geysers at the same time - this does not usually happen. My SO decided to also put the kettle on and warm up something to eat in the microwave. Power draw on one of the phases must have been slightly more than 7kw, and across the phases it would have gone past 12kw (probably closer to 13kw). I would have thought that the pass through would have kicked in. Instead the inverter cut out for about a minute or less - all power went off and it reset. When it came back all was well, microwave and kettle automatically goes off. This is just my experience. It was an odd set of circumstances (a perfect storm).

single phase generator on 3 phase Sunsynk inverter.
Hi ... I would also like to know the answer to this. If the generator is connected like this, can it charge the battery if the load is less than the generator capacity?

Sunsynk Solarman - Alert When Grid Goes Down
Thanks ... unfortunately I have a 3 phase system and the whole house is on the inverter. I can probably get an electrician to wire up a plug point from the non essential side and have one of those Tuya plugs to monitor when the Voltage goes to zero. That's an option, however is there is a software driven way that it can be done?

Sunsynk Solarman - Alert When Grid Goes Down
Hi, Is there any way to receive a notification when the grid goes down using a Sunsynk and the Solarman Dongle? I have a single battery, and yesterday the grid went down at 17.00. Battery was at 95%. I did not know the grid was down and went about normal consumption, using the oven and a few other heavy appliances. Needless to say at 22.00 the battery was at 20% and the system went offline . For the first time in ages we have been without electricity. The grid only came back at 00.00. If I had known the grid was down we could have curtailed the oven use (wasn't necessary) and the system would have been fine. I want to be able to receive a notification that the grid is down. Is this possible?

Sunsynk 12kw 3phase
Hi Gerrie, I have the 12kw 3 Phase Sunsynk installed. It can do 6 kw on a phase but is limited to 12 Kw in total. Before I re-balanced the phases, I happily did 6 kw on a single phase and 3-4 kw on the second phase and a bit on the third phase. I have since rebalanced the load and each phase rarely will go past 5 kW. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

12 kW 3 Phase System Installed - Experience so Far
Hi, I think Chris and I used the same installer. Try to separate the geyser and stove on two separate phases then you don't have to worry about it. I didn't downgrade my elements. I have 1 x 4kw, 1 x3kw on different phases. I have a gas stove, which is way cheaper to run than electrical stove. We cook everyday and a 9 kg lasts three and a half months. I put the geysers on an astute CBI timer so I can control it remotely if necessary. I found the sweet spot for timing. Better to go for an extra battery. I have 8 panels (540w) and one battery. Could just about use another battery if I had 2 more panels. Having more panels without a battery will not help me. Battery before the next panels go up. Hope this helps.

Ok. Thanks ... Air temps are barely over 30 degrees but the inverter gets warm. Temp on the screen said 56 degs at the peak production and hottest part of the day over the weekend.
