Gas Geyser not igniting
Hi everyone, I have had the same issue as this. I swopped out the batteries, cleaned all the filters (which were clear) and changed the gas out. Water pressure is constant because it runs through a booster pump that keeps the water pressure the same. It was only when I released the gas line off the geyser and reconnected it that it would fire again. It worked perfectly the first few times we used it, but if not used for an hour it stopped firing again. Only starts working again if I release the pressure - even changed the regulator out and same outcome. Fires for the first few time, but if you leave it for an hour, nothing. It has worked perfectly until now, so I am completely stumped. ANY help or useful checks or info would be appreciated!

Cannot get Solar Assistant working in Home Assistant
Hi, I'm running a Sol-a-ix-8m 8kw Mecer Inverter with 3 x Hubble AM-2 batteries using Solar Assistant. I've had Solar Assistant connected for a long time now and decided to get into Home Assistant as a side project. My problem is that I have NO idea how to connect Solar Assistant to Home Assistant....... I've followed all the instructions on the Solar Assistant site and NOTHING works! I managed to set up the MQQT broker on Home Assistant so it says its working but when I try to get SA to speak to it, it just won't! Anyone have a simple, easy to explain method I can use? My level is VERY basic! From scratch if possible? Thanks in advance.

Mecer 8kw inverter and Hubble AM-2 not talking
Thanks @Coulomb. After days of troubleshooting I have managed to figure out that it is a fault on the DC side of the Inverter. The manufacturer and the seller have agreed to collect it and take it for evaluation and repair/replacement.

Hubble AM-2 Not connecting to inverter after alarm
@Raj35, the inverter doesn’t recognise the batteries at all - gives me a “No Battery Connected” fault code. Batteries are fully charged - showing 53.8v when measured at terminals with multimeter - as per Hubble data sheet. I’ll go into settings and give it a try though and let you know if it helped.

Hubble AM-2 Not connecting to inverter after alarm
Thank you @BritishRacingGreen for the reply. I obviously didn't make it clear that when the fuse breaker is closed before the battery its turned on, the battery will send an alarm light immediately and even after a reset, it won't change. If I disconnect the fuse breaker and turn on the battery and reset it, it then shows as fully charged. This is all done with the inverter off. What would cause this, and how can I troubleshoot it? Any help is appreciated!

Hubble AM-2 Not connecting to inverter after alarm
I’m hoping someone can help me out with this problem….. I have a Mecer Sol-I-Ax-8m inverter connected to 2xHubble AM-2 batteries connected as a backup system - no solar yet. The whole system was working perfectly fine until a kettle was plugged into the wrong plug and turned on. The batteries’ alarm light turned on and the inverter circuits turned off. After bypassing the inverter, the batteries will only reset when the battery disconnect fuses are disconnected. They show as fully charged and working. As soon as I close the battery disconnect to connect to the inverter, the batteries’ alarm light goes back on and I can’t reset them. This is done with the inverter off. Any help or ideas as to how I can sort this out will be appreciated!

Good Supplier & Installer of Solar Panles in Pretoria East area?
Hi, After much deliberation we have decided to go off grid!! I have a backup system installed but need to add the solar PV's. Does anyone have a any good recommendations for a solar installer who will do a proper job in the Pretoria East area of Gauteng? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

RIOT Cloudlink
Hi @HubbleLithium, I am about to install 2 x Hubble AM-2 5.5kwh batteries to my system which runs 2 x Axpert 5kva inverters in parallel. When I install the CloudLink, how do I connect it to both batteries and inverters? Or do I just connec to the master inverter and master battery?

Connecting an HA02 Battery Balancer to 8 x 12V Batteries (4S 2P)?
How do I go about connecting a 48V HA02 Battery Balancer to my Solar Gel Batteries? I did find a thread about it earlier, but I can't decipher the pretty pictures - I need a step by step if anyone is willing to do that for me. I have 2 banks of 4 x 12v 200AH in series, then connected in parallel. Do I just connect the balancer to the one string (red to positive and black to negative) and it will balance all 8 batteries, or do I need a second Balancer for the second string? I'm quite useless when it comes to this stuff...... Thanks in advance for the help!

Time delay relay on inverter circuit?
Very much a noob to this and I’m quite clueless when it comes to working with these inverter but I’m slowly learning. Is it possible to install a time delay relay on an inverter circuit where the inverter is being used as a UPS - no solar? The circuits draw too much power when the inverter kicks in at load shedding or a power failure so I want to set them to delay turning on until the inverter has stabilised after switch over. Is this possible? I'm running 2 x Axpert 5kVa/4kw inverters with 48V 400ah total battery bank (8 x 12V 200Ah Gel batteries - 2 banks of 4 in series then both banks connected in parallel), Any feedback is much appreciated.

Axpert Inverters x2 Parallel - Error 04 after 2 mins?
Thanks so much for your insight @Arandoza and @Coulomb! After more testing today, what you have said now actually makes sense to me. I generally have about 300W running continually and that then climbs when we use a kettle or a toaster or the microwave. We have 2 fridges and a water cooler that are on the inverter and I think when power changes over to the inverter, those draw too much for the 48v 400ah gel batteries to handle, hence the super fast drop off (at least that is how I understand it after your explanations?). Today I shut off the fridge circuits and turned the mains off. The inverter dropped from 54.4V to 52.2V and stabilised. Hovered between 52.2V and 52.3V for over an hour. I then turned the fridge circuits back on and the system dropped to 50.0V where it stabilised at 50.2V and sat for another hour before I turned he mains back on. With the fridges running, my max load is only about 800-900W (add laptops and 3 Smart TVs and a few LED lamps). I see my only solution being 1 of 2 things: - I remove the fridge circuits off the inverters and back to mains; - I place a time delay relay on the fridge circuits so they each come on 2-3 mins after everything has switched over and stabilised on the inverter. I’m not even sure if this is possible? Thanks again for the help. Much appreciated!
