  4. There is some very poor advise above re batteries, I would also stay well away from Growatt inverters. We have a plus 10% failure rate on the Growatt units. For a 3ph solution I would recommend the Sunsynk or Deye 12kW units.

Hi, We have had more than normal failures, however the importer has been brilliant with replacing units so far.
  6. Hi Guys, Has anyone ever seen this before? When connected the panels looks like this but the customer says it has returned to normal when disconnected. I still waiting for the panel to be returned. Bowsie
  7. Hi Guys What are the options out there for monitoring Axpert inverters? Is anyone using happily using anything? Regards
  8. Hi Chris, Hope you well. Ah, never noticed the spanner before. I have adjusted all the other programs, but 29 won't let me move up or down. Will have to have another go at it.
  9. Hi, I have a problem with a Axpert MKS 48V. Program 29 is not letting me adjust the battery cut off and has a little spanner next to it. I'm guessing it is another setting that is blocking it. Any Ideas?

  14. Hi, A question more out of curiosity. Why is the internal wiring in a combiner box always Solar Cable and not just standard, equivalent 4,6,or 10mm2 normal copper cable? Is this due to regulation? Would using standard copper create a problem somehow? Bowsie
  15. Hi, I have 8 hoppecke 6v batteries installed in a 48v bank. Very happy, no problems as of yet. Is there anyone else out there using these batteries or does anyone have or had any experience or opinion on them? I have attached a spec sheet, any feedback appreciated. 18. Sorry. Let me rephrase. Not economic batteries, rather on an economic system, so not top end equipment. Presuming the batteries are speced correctly and ventilation was not an issue and you had a choice over AGM or gel in an off grid application which would you chose? @Chris Hobson your AGM's have lasted two years. Is that cycling every day? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yes has a cover. At this stage not too worried about overheating, all the main vents are open. Will monitor it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi Guys. I'm looking for opinions on the best batteries to use on small economic off grid systems from 1-5 kw peak. Has anyone had experience with gel or AGM over a period of time? Bowsie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
