I bought an Axpert VMII from them and 3 years later still good, I have now upgraded to a Deye Inverter... I never had problems with mine, and looking to sell it as I no longer have use for it

Do any of you guys got experience with these Volta 5.12kWh Lithium-ion Battery, are they any good, short comings, any review would be great - I need more info as to should i invest in buying some - want to use it with a Deye 5KW Hybrid Inverter. Hi Coulomb, I had to keep the Volts down and upped the Amps so that I could add more panels, I placed 3 panels in parallel (lowering Volts) and then series the 2 sets (higher Amps) with a ultra fast fuses between the 2 sets, I wanted to buy the inline fuses but could not get them in time so I opted for a normal fuse/holder. The pictures are the combiner box closest to the panels on the side of my roof, with cable going down to my Inverter where I also got a bigger fuse/holder installed to handle the Amps before connecting to the Inverter.

Morning Admiral, I bought my busbars from ACDC and they where not that expensive, follow the link; they got some already threaded ones that is easy to use and they also got the insulator feed that will insulate your bars. I am looking for these lugs specifically, I want to use them on my battery terminals to avoid shutting down the whole system if and when something goes wrong with the battery monitor or bmv, its easier to disconnect a female lug from this., than to remove the bolts from the batteries themselves

Thx Fuenkli, found the problem, my bmv did not take the setting from 200amp to 400amps when I initially change the settings

OK so here goes nothing I hope not... I did my install as per drawing above, (without the mid-point) I had only 4 x 12v = 48v = 200amp battery bank and added a second bank to this with busbars the works, with bmv-702 battery monitor with mid-point and ha02 battery balancer as well, my batteries DOD was normally between 20-25% for the 4 battery string, now that I have added the second string my DOD is still between 20-25% I have set my bmv to 400 amps, inverter to charge at 40 amps the question is should my DOD not now be less as I have doubled my total battery amps, what am I missing here, (still a nooby here and still learning new things everyday)

Thank you Plonkster, I had a chat with some 4x4 guys and they said that the second battery is for dual systems in a bakkie or camping so i just need to add both battery banks to the busbar and feed them out

Good Morning Learned Friends, I bought my bmv-702 and now the question is, on the back of the box I see the following schematic. I got 2 banks of 48V - 200Amp batteries, giving me 400Amps in parallel, now I see that the Battery System 1 connects to the battery side of the shunt and the battery system 2 connects to the load side of the shunt, is this correct and what would the reason be for this. Do I just go ahead and connect both battery banks to the battery side of the shunt, and can I use the Pos supply cable 2 by connecting that to +B2 for the 2nd bank of batteries?
