  1. 2X 12v 105ah connected in series = 24v 105ah. So 2520Wh is correct.
  2. The battery icon flashes when there is successful communication between the inverter and battery.
  3. I've add it to the downloads.

This remote panel reflash (U2) version 2.00 some may need it when updating your main firmware .
  4. I made my own cable using the details in the following post https://powerforum.co.za/topic/2519-mpp-solar-inverters-support-pylontech-some-models/?do=findComment&comment=52895
  5. Do you know which firmware your screen was running?
  6. 32= communication interrupted
  7. I shutdown the load from the inverter then the turned off my solar supply and finally turned off my utility supply. So I was left with the inverter only running on batteries. Connected the inverter to my laptop via a serial to usb connector. I ran the screen firmware 2.00 update first. Then ran the 71.86 update and it loaded fine. I turned on everything in the reverse order. I did however have to purchase another serial to usb connector as the first one I bought didnโ€™t want to work with the software. This is the one I bought second time round. And it worked perfectly. https://www.takealot.com/trendnet-usb-to-serial-converter/PLID29271821
  8. Today I updated my September 2018 King firmware from 71.50 to 71.86. I also updated the screen firmware to 2.00. The updates went well and took about 15 minutes to complete. After changing setting 5 to PYL and waiting about a minute. I now have communication between the batteries and the inverter. So it seems (for my inverter anyway) the 2018 Kings do have the correct hardware to communicate with Pylontech batteries.
  9. They work with IR so one per room.
  10. I use a Broadlink RM mini 3, works brilliantly. very easy to setup also works with IFTTT
  11. Check Amazon, loads available cheap
  12. I get my readings using ICC from my Pylontech batteries. However if my inverter is in Utility mode you can see a 2A's charging on the inverter display(if set to disallow utility charging) .
  13. Iโ€™m still running 71.50.When my inverter is in ECO mode (setting 10) and disallow utility charging (setting 16) I donโ€™t get any charging from utility. My batteries drain at a constant -44w during this time.
  14. The display needs the be plugged in for the inverter to work. So no wireless connection. Not sure if the Bluetooth receiver is in the display or not. I donโ€™t have an android device. But without the screen plugged in the inverter doesnโ€™t work. As the power button is on the screen.
  15. Iโ€™m running 71.50. @miles does 71.70 have the plyon option in the battery settings ?
  16. The thing im finding really weird is that your grid watts are going into the negative scale. As if power is being sent back to the grid? Not sure if it has something to do with the parallel setup.
  17. How are your panels mounted?
  18. Did you pull all the fuses out when checking the voltage?
  19. I know @Manie is working on ICC to make the king change to Eco mode on SOC/timer. In Eco mode if there is a power failure the inverter changes to battery power.
  20. Has anyone received a firmware update for their King?
  21. Tonight i'm running in Eco Mode and there's a constant 44w load on the batteries. This can only be the inverter own consumption which is much better 100w-300w wasted on the grid handling in line mode. Running in eco mode on your size battery bank @LouisM this shouldn't cause too much of a cycling problem?
  22. One way around this is if it was possible it put the inverter into eco mode at night. Either using SOC or on a timer. This would eliminate the the double conversion as it put the inverter into bypass and if thereโ€™s a power failure it would still jump back onto batteries. This could be a good feature for ICC .Will have to asked @Manie Nicely ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ˜
  23. Yes from micro usb to pc. Windows 10
