Because the Max Power Voltage is 30-32 for the KS, can be done with the MKS which has a MPPT charge controller.

  3. Is your Main Switch an ELR ?. I prefer diverting the circuits to the inverter DB if adjacent.
  4. 1. The 2.5Kw generator will be suitable. 2. 1.5mm2 x 3 cabtyre. 3. Connect the earth.

I'm also a newbie, just wondering if another pv panel in parallel and 2 more batteries will be a better option. The PWM controller can handle 6 panels in parallel 6 x 8.14 = 48.84A
  6. Just add a dab of silicone sealant.

Did some matching up of specs of YGE 60 cell pv panels to Axpert (PWM) KS 3Kva. 6 x 245W in parallel, @ Pmax = 30V, 49.68A Decided it's not viable.
  8. Axpert KS 3Kva inverter, 2 x 105Ah Silver Calcium Exide batteries, sub DB feeding all lights and dedicated plugs for PC, TV, Amp etc. Max load = 600W + 1400W for a few minutes to boil water in the microwave. Installed WatchPower on a old netbook I had lying around, USB connection is plug and play and was surprised how easy it was to setup email for fault warning.
