Hi Guys, I just DIY ed fuse box and used 32A Ceramic DC fuses (10x38) and one just blew. I'm looking at changing all my fuses to 63A but I can't seem to get those in  10x38. Does anyone know where I could get 50A or 63A 10x38 fuses? Please assist

To my knowledge biggest are 32A

Every where I have been, so far, they told me the same thing. Thought there might be a place where they have bigger sizes. I actually need an 80A one but wanted to try the 63A if I could find it 😪

I think the footprint and holder will not be resilient to the DC arcing at 63 amps , when opened or closed. Best bet or safe will be to choose a bigger footprint .

You probably need to replace the entire fuse holder, You could try SIBA fuses in Commissioner street Johannesburg.

No no! not the batteries. My battery fuses are ok, these ones are for the DIY combiner box. For the PV panels and managed to sort them out

Haha ok great.  I would have been like 🤦‍♂️ if it were the battery 😛

When I bought fuses, I ended up ordering them on Amazon.com because fuses in SA are so hard to find and so expensive.  Lots of options on Amazon but when you go to ACDC for example, the prices are loaded and the variety is pathetic.
