July 17, 20232 yr I can't talk intelligently about the Deye range, however, I can talk about the Sunsynk. FreedomWon is supported but with some limitations of use. No common battery bus. So if you pair 2 batteries they need their own CANbus Battery Comms independently which is weird. There are 2 BMS Ports. A very weird arrangement. Their was probably some quirks during the development. The Deye machine would need some care & investigation but my gut tells me the Pylontech will work out the box so will the Dete HV option. The FreedomWon will depend on whether Deye has the correct & matched firmware. FreedomWon HV range of lithium batteries comes standard with ATESS integration. If you want a Sunsynk matched firmware this needs to be requested or loaded post delivery by the Technical support. So you can see that this is by no means a perfect journey.
July 17, 20232 yr @Steve87 you are the fundi on these HV systems in SA eg.ATESS there are good reason that FW has limatation in use clause. What is worrying though the Deye 100% unbalanced output, how do they approach the 100% unblanced loads in a 3 phase system. If any 3 phase system is unbalanced your power factor goes through the roof! In three-phase AC grids the inverter is required to feed unbalanced loads as a symmetrical three-phase voltage source. This should also be possible under extreme unsymmetrical load conditions. So how do Deye adress this problem? In unbalanced 3phase systems you need a strong neutral. This is a quote from ATESS weppage" We use this topology to combine with the ATESS control logic: during grid connection, the software will control the inverter to perform phase lock referring to grid frequency and voltage, and output synchronously; when off-grid, ATESS inverter can precisely control the output voltage and frequency, so as to ensure that the voltage of each phase is consistent within the allowable tolerance. With all this, ATESS energy storage inverter turns out to be able to handle 100% unbalanced three-phase load, which means that a 150kw three-phase inverter can run with single-phase load of 50KW in any phase, providing an ideal solution for load variability

September 11, 20232 yr any update on the high voltage game..i am going for the deye 20kw with deye bos battery packs
