I Recently upgraded my batteries to 2 Pylontech UP5000's in my system, with a 7.2kW Kodak inverter and have had nothing but problems.

The master battery keeps going into trip mode and then we can only use the slave. Any idea why this keeps happening?

The system worked fine with the 2 x US3000's I had before upgrading.

No error on the inverter. I'm at an absolute loss about what it could be, tried everything I can think about.

I'd appreciate any input!

Assuming you are using bms comms, First I would swap the batteries around, the now slave, make it a master and vice versa. If the same problem occur, then you will know that it is not the batteries. Then disconnect bms comms and manually input settings on the inverter and test without using bms comms. If the same problem occur, then you would have ruled out bms comms as the culprit. If the battery does not trip when bms comms is disconnected, then your issue will be around bms communication i.e the cable or the battery/inverter's firmware. Since the inverter and US3000 were working fine, I wouldn't rule out the firmware as an issue. You might need to update the inverter and battery firmware to the most resent one available. Also, note that the dip switches are upside down and your numbering is from right to left

I believe as long as they are the same on both batteries it wont matter ,but for your question it was v2,2 at that time , running v2,4 now.

At what voltage are you charging your batteries? Bulk and float voltage?

Hello. How can I get the v2.4 I intend on purchasing a UP5000 to run on a Kodak 5KVA VIII. Am think it would be best to upgrade before doing any tinkering
